The Green New Deal Is the Key
to Ending Forever Wars
Unleash a Green Revolution: Transforming the Weapons Economy into a Climate-Saving Powerhouse!

The U.S. military budget is 3 times that of Russia and China combined,
and therefore can be cut in half without sacrificing national security.
The $886 billion annual military budget is a threat to our national security because:

-
The use of these weapons creates enemies instead of reducing them;
-
All the wars of the last 60 years have been wars of aggression, not a defense.
-
The U.S. military is the world’s largest single generator of climate-changing emissions.
-
The U.S. wars for petroleum keep us using fossil fuels instead of renewable energy.
-
The manufacture of weapons burns up over $300 billion worth of oil annually.
-
U.S. encirclement of Russia and China threatens peaceful trade and prosperity for all.
-
A planned $1.7 trillion upgrade of nuclear weapons makes them more likely to be used.
-
The profiteering U.S. war budget is an attack on the health and security of everyone.
